Well lets start of with, What is Speed the Light? Speed the Light is an organization that takes offerings and blesses missionaries throughout the world with it, so they may further their outreach unto a lost world. Many churches and organizations throught the United States give to Speed the Light through offerings or profits. Which is exactly what B2R does. We make necklaces from t-shirts and sell them for 5 dollars, so we may give the profits to Speed the Light.
Marissa Deraya, a junior, bases this ministry out of Destiny Christian Church in California through the Youth ministry, United Youth Culture. She started this ministry in September of 2011. She has made close to $800 in the past 6 months. All of which profits have been sent to Speed the Light. Deraya believes that God will bless this ministry so it may continue blessing others.
